Graduates Only Look Online For Graduate Jobs

Graduates Tend To Only Look Online For The Lates Graduate Jobs, meaning companies are wasting big money in advertising!

A new study has indicated that UK businesses who are spending a big amount, or even a considerable portion of their advertising budgets on print based media for their Graduate Vacancies may well be wasting their money.

New research conducted by the popular jobs board website Reed Employment revealed that eighty nine percent of the four hundred graduates that registered on their website only search for jobs online!

The same survey revealed that eighteen percent of the graduates registered use specialist agencies, eight percent tend to apply in person, while just three percent regularly peruse the newspaper adverts.

So if you’re looking to fill Graduate Jobs, based on the evidence above, the name of the game is speed! Eighteen Percent of the four hundred spend between one and two hours looking for and at job opportunities and researching what is available.  Shockingly nine percent of the people that participated claimed they don’t do any formal research and simply turn up for the interview!

With this in mind, a new trend is expected to develop where Graduate Employers add more and more information about their company in the adverts, to assist candidates with their applications.
